Episode 11: The Biggest Lesson I Learned From My Great Southwest Road Trip
"We feel that as humans, the empathy for suffering, the empathy for our loved ones that are close to us and far from us, and the tragedy of it all, and the heartache of it all. And then we have to stop and think, how vast how vast is that Grand Canyon? How far out are those stars in the sky? How long have humans been living here?... you can suddenly realize that the most important thing you can do is to love." - Kellee Wynne
Inhale. Hold. And exhale. Welcome back to Unfold with Kellee Wynne. We’re so grateful you’re joining us on this journey. Today Kellee is sharing a live account of her 3-week road trip to the Southwest with her mama and the truths she's learned along the way.
- The world is a wonderful place
- Appreciation comes from the simplest things
- Coming from a place of love breaks all those barriers we built
But the greatest truth is that we all need a break to reset from time to time and it’s okay to take that time for ourselves and to ask for help if needed.
This trip wasn't just about sightseeing; it was about understanding the depth of love and empathy. The conversations with my mom, the breathtaking vistas, and the quiet moments of reflection all contributed to a newfound sense of purpose. In a world rife with division, this experience underscored the importance of loving unconditionally and breaking down barriers of judgment and misunderstanding.

You are so fortunate to have that time with your Mother. My Mother is now 88 and I wish I'd done it at your age. So glad it brought love and inspiration and joy to you (and I'm sure your Mother).
thanks for sharing your trip with your mom. I loved hearing about being open to others with differing opinions. I would love to do a workshop with you in Sedona! I love Sedona, live about 2 hours away, and go up there at least 2x a year. It's so peaceful and inspiring.
